Make a "Scientific" Research, but the results should be "Groundless Allegations"!!

In an article published in the Turkish daily "Cumhuriyet" on May 12, 2003, Oral Calislar, the author, using the words of a Turkish journalist, expresses the Turkish propaganda on all international issues, including the Armenian Genocide, as "the propaganda of Turks aiming at Turks", and "propaganda which is not based on realities".
Oral Calislar refers to the series of instructions that the Turkish Council of the Higher Education had sent to university rectors and deans to train educators on the "Armenian issue". Oral says:
"Therefore YOK (the Council) would determine in advance what and how scientists would think about the Armenian Deportation"!! That "scientific" study, carried out at the university level, has apparently descended to the high, secondary, and primary school levels, and was put into practice starting from the school year 2002-2003. It was requested that conferences be organized in primary and secondary schools dealing with the theme that "the Armenian allegations are groundless".
Oral Calislar notes that "by means of propaganda, those denials (the denial of the Armenian Genocide) will be taught to children and youth and will be engraved in their minds". The same is requested from Armenian schools; it is required that young Armenians also form sentences denying "the groundless Armenian allegations".
Oral Calislar boldly announces that "on this date (1915), the Committee of Union and Progress committed a huge crime against humanity", and concludes his article by asking questions: "Why should I take the responsibility for that crime, and oppose the historical truths by asserting that all of this did not take place? Why shall we mislead young brains with lies? What kind of damage does such propaganda cause in the brains of the youth? What will this society gain, by educating the youth with legends that are unreal?"
