The events of Tunisia and Egypt affect Iraq and other Arab states- My opinion

These events are also affecting the situation in Iraq and other Arab states. Similar big protests are to be organized in Baghdad in February 25, following small protests happened previously. This will have its impact, however, the dramatic change will be more difficult in Iraq due to the sectarian differences deepened in the last eight years, foreign states' interference in Iraq's domestic affairs and that the dominant politicians may claim that change should only come through democratic elections. Anyway, unexpected changes may also take place in Iraq similar to what happened in Tunisia and Egypt.
